Confirmed! Forbes on As the World Turns

In the months since Forbes left One Life to Live, there have been quite a few different theories and rumors floating around about where the actor would go next, all of which turned out to be unfounded. Last week, The Actor's Studio posted an interview with Forbes March in which he talked about his early modelling and acting days and hinted that he had a future role on the CBS soap opera As The World Turns. Understandably, we didn't want to get our hopes up this time until we received the official word.

But today, Soap Opera Digest has confirmed that Forbes will indeed be appearing on As the World Turns, starting July 14th:

Soap Opera Digest has learned exclusively that Forbes March, who won hearts as OLTL's Nash, is joining ATWT on July 14 as Mason, Noah's college advisor. "Mason's gay, too, so [he and Noah] have that in common. And we'll see where it goes!" says March. The actor is aware of the strong "Nuke" contingent out there. "Well, having received death threats when I played Nash and I had to deal with Antonio fans, I think I’m ready for them," he cracks. For the full story, see the next issues of Digest and Weekly.

I wonder if it's a coincidence that Mutant X names keep popping up in his soap opera roles? First Nash Brennan on OLTL, and now Mason on ATWT? Heh-heh. In any case, it'll be great to see him working again. And if his three OLTL Dankies are any indication, I'm not the only one who has missed his presence on the small screen. Go Forbes!

Wired City and 2 new Forbes links

Pic from Column of Life

Waaaaay back in October 2006, Forbes March, Turhan Caylak, and Shane Jacobsen filmed a pilot episode for Howard Reichman's comedy show Wired City, about a struggling writer and his friends. Though there had been initial interest from HBO at the time, the show was not picked up.

Now it seems, it may yet get a second chance. The New York Television Festival (NYTVF) recently announced that it will include Wired City in its lineup of 36 pilot screenings at New World Stages in Midtown Manhattan, September 12th -17th.

You can watch the Wired City pilot episode on YouTube here.

Oh, and by the way...

I just discovered two more Forbes March fansites: Forbes March Forever and Forever Fabulous Forbes, so I think I'll update our Forbes Links List now.

As always, if you guys can think of others that I haven't listed yet, please let me know! Thanks. :)
